Diesel prices end week with new record, gas prices dip - Oct. 7, 2005: "Gas prices retreated a touch lower Friday while diesel closed the week by setting another record at the pump as many Gulf Coast refineries still remain closed and demand for gasoline slowed."

No #2 fuel oil is currently $3.49 per gallon in Jacksonville.

It's around $3.19 here.

3.35 is southern OK gasoline is down to 2.35

Wow, a whole dollar!

The difference is less in Denver where regular unleaded is about $2.50 and #2 is around $3.

Last time I was on Martha's Vineyard, they were up around $3.25 for regular and something slightly lower for diesel. But that was before Katrina, so I bet something broke $4 before all was said and done.
